The Fat Rabbit Pub: Experience New American Flavors in Tampa

Went for our Valentine's Lunch today, and wanted to try something new. We were very pleasantly surprised. Excellent food, and the menu had a lot of great choices for a small neighborhood bar/restaurant. I had the New Tampa Dipper sandwich with the hot peppers ( I can't pronounce the name, but they're really good on it ) and fries. We didn't get any burgers but saw them being brought out and they looked enormous. Our server was Mary, she was very attentive and the food was out really quickly. Atmosphere kind of like a sports bar, lots of TV and good music selection. We will definitely be going back, we had a great experience. I highly recommend it for a meal or a place to watch sporting events.

Really welcome respite from Moffitt Cancer Center! Super cute sports bar with lots of TVs for game time viewing. Mary was our server and could not have been sweeter. Service was light speed fast! The espresso martini was amazing. Nice upscale selection from standard bar food. Loved the short rib bowl. It’s a little loud but lively and just a happy place to be. Thanks Mary for facilitating a wonderful evening.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stumble across this wonderful establishment & enjoyed some amazing sour brews from a local brewery along with some incredible wings and sandwiches, followed by a deliciously smoked cocktail. Mary and Alyssa were absolutely fantastic in every way! Highly recommended! Bravo FAT RABBIT

Really starting to Jive on these little speakeasy popping up in strip malls feel like outside that I saw was when we first got there it was super busy in the noise was so loud could not hear each other talk but the server was sweet the bartenders were awesome the drinks were yummy and the burrito that we had I can't remember what was in it it was really good I wanted to try their signature sauce OMG too hot for me had great flavor but wow too spicy for me overall it was a nice evening it was the first date won't have a second date with this one I guess he never called me I was ghosted past the good night thank you for meeting me and sharing some time he made sure I got home he did not like the noise and I loved the decorations how it was decorated that was pretty cool maybe install some cork walls that will help with the noise not being so loud

This is a great restaurant to go unwind, have a drink, watch a football game / hockey etc. Their wings are great with some special sauces they toss along with traditional sauces. We like there 3 sliders appetizer. My favorite drink is the special Jack Rabbit. Their grown up grill cheese is really good. They have a lot of specials that you should try. This is a place to try!

Don’t hesitate. Whether for drinks, sports, food or music … stop here!!! Great vibe, excellent service and delicious food. We will absolutely be back!!! Definitely step above a typical sports bar menu!

WoW. Just WoW! The burgers are INCREDIBLE! I built my own w/ blue cheese crumbles, caramelized onions, avocado, bacon, & bacon jelly. BEST BURGER I've ever eaten! (SEE PIC.) My friend loved his! And the tater tots are OUT OF THIS WORLD. They are like none other~~ crispy & seasoned to perfection. Even the pretzel bread appetizer w/ beer cheese & mustard was PHENOMENAL. Supposedly, the wings are what the Fat Rabbit is known for~ they must be delicious! Service was great. Enjoy the long bar, overhead TVs, outdoor seating near the entrance, & many tables of varying sizes. GREAT place! My only less than stellar thought was w/ regard to the acoustics/volume. It's loud inside & not easy to hold detailed conversations. But, the food DEFINITELY makes The Fat Rabbit Pub a place any foodie should frequent!
